Exciting updates are coming to Old Town Animal Hospital and they’re all designed with one goal in mind: providing better care and a smoother experience for you and your pet.
We’re renovating and expanding within our existing space to add exam rooms, enhance our surgical and dental capabilities, and improve how our team cares for patients behind the scenes.
Construction is expected to begin in late April, with completion targeted for late June.
🚧 What to Expect During Construction
We know construction can raise questions and we’re working hard to make this process as smooth as possible.
- Most loud construction work will take place before or after business hours
- Some work may occur during the day, but disruption will be kept to a minimum
- Parking will remain the same for clients
- And don’t worry, no hard hat is required for your visit
Our team and construction partners are committed to maintaining a safe, calm environment for both pets and people throughout the renovation.
🐾 What’s Changing - And Why It Matters
More Exam Rooms Up Front
We’re adding two new exam rooms in the front of the hospital.
This means:
- More appointment availability
- Less time waiting in the lobby
- A more efficient, streamlined visit
To make room, our lobby will be slightly smaller, but this change allows us to better prioritize what matters most: getting you and your pet into a room and cared for quickly.
Expanded Surgery Capabilities
We’re building a new surgery suite, allowing our team to perform two procedures at the same time.
We’re also upgrading how we deliver medical gases, moving from traditional tanks to a plumbed medical gas system, which allows for:
- More consistent and reliable delivery
- Increased safety and efficiency during procedures
This upgrade helps us provide advanced care with greater precision and control.
A Dedicated Dental Suite
Dental care is a critical part of your pet’s health, and we’re giving it the space it deserves.
Our new dental suite will include:
- Updated dental tables
- A new surgical light for improved visibility
This allows our team to perform dental procedures more effectively while maintaining a high standard of care.
A Larger, More Functional Treatment Area
Behind the scenes, we’re expanding and improving our treatment space to help our team:
- Move more efficiently during procedures
- Monitor patients more closely
- Deliver attentive, high-quality care at every stage

We’re also making smart updates to better support how we care for pets, including:
